Kathy Freeman Contreras
Research Director, Channel Marketing Strategies
With a thorough understanding of channel, partner and multi-tier business models, Kathy has built, led and managed global channel marketing and award-winning partner programs for companies of all sizes. Her strength is in leveraging the power of the channel community and building innovative co-marketing programs and campaigns that are beneficial for all parties. Kathy has global management experience including previous direct management responsibility for Americas, APAC and EMEA regions.
Before joining SiriusDecisions, Kathy led a successful executive consulting firm that provided channel strategy and marketing services to emerging and established companies throughout California. Prior to that, she served as vice president of marketing for Abaca Technologies (acquired by Proofpoint), an email security provider. Before joining Abaca, Kathy held global marketing leadership and senior channel management positions at Audatex, Phoenix Technologies, Dantz Development Corp. (acquired by EMC) and Sendmail (acquired by Proofpoint). Kathy began her career at Sun Microsystems, where she held various positions in alliance and marketing management.

Steven Kellam is President at CCI. As a growth specialist, Steven is responsible for CCI’s sales and marketing strategy and vision for today’s goals and objectives as well as positioning the organization for continued, long-term success. Steven has experience in both the VAR space, having run a successful Managed Services IT business and a background in Manufacturing where he built a channel of over 2,000 partners.
Prior to CCI, Steven was Executive Vice President of PlanIT Solutions, the leading Network Managed Services provider in the San Francisco North Bay Area. While there, Steven led a successful growth initiative that increased Managed Services revenue by over 200 percent in two years. As VP of Network Sales and Business Development at San Francisco-based Ecast, during his eight-year tenure, Steven led sales efforts that quadrupled the size of the Ecast network to 10,000 nationwide locations and 2,000 partners.
