CCI PASSES SAS 70 TYPE II AUDIT FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: July 20, 2009 NOVATO, CA –CCI, a leading provider of channel marketing enterprise software and professional services announced today that their internal controls and processes passed a Statement on Auditing Standards No. 70 Type II (SAS-70 Type II) audit. SAS-70 Type II is an internationally recognized auditing standard developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). A SAS-70 Type II audit or service auditor's examination is widely recognized, because it represents that a service organization has been through an in-depth audit of their control activities and processes. The audit covers critical items such as security, data storage, programming, administration and financial practices. In today's global economy, service organizations must demonstrate that they have adequate controls and safeguards when they host or process data belonging to their clients. “We chose to go through the audit to further ensure confidence in our services and to simplify client compliance with legal and audit requirements.” states Debra Delaney, CCI's President and CEO "Our software has over 150,000 users worldwide, and we facilitate payments to over 80 countries through 63 currencies. The report demonstrates that we have adequate controls and safeguards in place. We are finding that such controls are a strong value-add for our clients’ and a pre-requisite for many.” An outside auditing firm conducted a comprehensive SAS-70 Type II audit. The audit included an assessment of CCI’s systems, processes and managed services to ensure compliance with all Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. The result was a SAS-70 II Audit Report, which indicates that CCI's practices passed the audit without issue.
