Sales Associate - Novato, CA

Primary Responsibilities:
• Research all leads coming in from the web and other sources to identify if they are qualified prospects for CCI software and services. Codify results or each lead based on established guidelines.
• Follow-up with all leads via phone and email with the goal of prequalifying the lead for demo or sales follow-through. Capture all qualification information and record for further reference.
• Hand off all qualified leads to outside sales for product demonstrations and value proposition presentations.
• Assist sales team in designing and executing nurturing campaign to all prospects.
• Research companies to assess their viability as a candidate for CCI products and services
• Work with marketing to create campaign lists and email solicitation strategies for suspect companies and industries
• Attend weekly team meetings to share insights and convey weekly activities, as well as share any trends in demand or requirements for specific products and contribute to sales and marketing strategies for how to address those trends
• Contribute to the ongoing maintenance of CCI’s prospect database by updating it with current contact and activity information
• Monitor designated social networking sites to identify opportunities for CCI sales and marketing responses


Desired Attributes:
• Minimum 3 years of sales experience in high value product—ideally enterprise software or other technology products
• Knowledge and insight of CCI “space” a plus—sales and marketing software and or incentives management
• Comfortable using CRM/SFA applications in general and with Salesforce.com in Specific
• Familiarity with utilizing online social media outlets to develop sales relationships
• Excellent phone skills required—not afraid of cold calls
• Good writing skills for email solicitations and follow-up
• BA/BS
