Ensuring Co Op Management Systems Function Properly

With co-op funds, partners in a sales channel are able to build and to make more profit with the help of the other partners in the channel. Co-op funds are given by the partners as an incentive or a motivational step to get more business through the channel. With co-op funds flowing through a channel, all of the partners are able to build and to utilize the additional business for their own good, and can also take advantage of the business that those partners are bringing in. One thing to keep in mind, however, is that there should be a co-op fund management program in place that ensures that the funds are being transferred from one partner to the other in a legitimate manner.

This means that co-op funds need to be recorded and tracked the whole way through to ensure that they are being used to benefit the partners and the channel. Often times the co-op funds being given are a collected amount from the channel. This means that the co-op funds management program is responsible for the entire channel's monetary flow. In order for the channel to see profits, the management system has to function properly.
