More and more, channel marketing looks to improve and to find efficient ways to use prospect and customer data to filter target lists, construct personalization rules and seek better success rates in business. This means that the partners in the channel, as well as potential customers and partners, are responsible for certain aspects of the channel marketing strategy. It is easiest to think of it as a transparent channel, in which each partner discloses all information so that it is accessible to others within the channel.
