Deal registration management programs help those partners in a channel marketing relationship. When a seller is looking into a deal registration program, he should meet several requirements. There are many reasons for this, besides creating a fair relationship between different partners in a transaction. There are several benefits as well in having a deal registration management system.

Deal registration management should be available on proportionally equal terms to all competing prospects, or partners. Each partner in a channel marketing system should take action to inform all of his competing customers of the existence of and the key features of the promotional plan in time for them to take full advantage of the program. This information is given on the basis that all partners will provide the same information when their time is come. There should be an alternative program available to those that the deal registration plan is not available.

The goal is to provide enough information through channel marketing to supply to the end consumer. That being said, it is important to have the information necessary that the necessary partners have details of the plan; and enough information to give them a clear understanding of the exact terms of the program and the conditions upon which payment will be made by the end consumer. The seller should take reasonable precautions to see that the services are actually performed and that he is not overpaying for them.
