Channel Data Analysis Efficiency
Channel data analysis and reporting not only helps to keep a sales channel efficient, but also allows partners with in a sales channel to keep their own information and data organized. For example, channel data reporting will store information in one location so that as information is needed, it can be accessed. Efficient channel data analysis also allows you to post all of your collateral, sales training material, sales tips, etc. into the system which automatically organizes and places it in the correct location. There are some channel data analysis programs that allow users to rate the value of each file. The benefit in this is seen in the long run, as you can begin to see trends in successful channel operations and programs. It also allows other partners in the channel to know where the good stuff is.
Because channel data reporting programs make information accessible and easy to access, there are some programs which will give certain partners more access than others. This is not to say that partners are deprived of useful information. In fact, everyone will have access. There will be partners, however, that will have access of controlling where this information is kept and how it is being used throughout the channel.
